Underground Parking Waterproofing

How to identify and repair leak path cracks in concrete structures

A method that can repair both wet cracks that normally leak from the surface of concrete structures such as underground structures in buildings and concrete tanks, and internal cracks formed inside concrete structures by injecting an alkaline solution into dry cracks that normally do not leak.

Patent certificate

[ Features ]

- Determine where and how the leak is coming from

- Identify leak paths Alkaline solution self- heals micro-pores and cracks (cures in micro-pores)

- Concrete strength can be restored, and a passivating film can be formed on rebar inside the structure to prevent rusting.

[ Patent No. 10-2032093 ] Method for identifying and repairing leakage path cracks in concrete structures

[ Procedure ]

1. if there is a crack in the suspected leakage path, drill a hole in the diagonal direction. 2.

2. Inject a low viscosity alkali solution that is more dilute than water so that the solution enters the leakage path, and the solution drips like a leak through the leakage.

3. For large cracks and concrete voids, acrylic injection + microcement injection is used. (For large gaps, elastic waterproofing material and microcement, a cement-like component, are injected.)

4. For small cracks, epoxy and urethane resin-based waterproofing materials are injected. (Acrylic waterproofing materials or microcement are not injected for small cracks due to particles and viscosity.)
