Waterproofing with tile and marble streaks

A tile waterproofing method that can reduce construction time and effort by waterproofing tiles using a file without removing them.

[ Construction sequence ] 

1. cutting the stem 

2. injecting acrylic waterproofing material (1st dilute, 2nd original solution) 

3. filling the stem waterproofing cement

CG Class 1 CG Class 1 : Spaces not exposed to excessive changes in temperature or humidity 

CG Class 2: For high-traffic areas or areas where water is constantly flowing, Class A products are suitable; for areas where water is constantly submerged, such as swimming pools, Class W products are suitable. 


[Analyzing the source of water leakage from tiles ]

- Tile and marble often have significant water leaks, with 100% of the leakage coming from the grain. 

- Tile is glazed and fired with a dense kneaded texture, so the tile itself is impermeable to water. 

- Marble has a dense texture that absorbs some water (about 7% water absorption) but does not allow water to pass through.
