Adding supermicro fibers to urethane or epoxy significantly improves tensile strength, elongation, and hardness, suppressing summer bubbling and pinhole defects. There is no re-cracking problem of urethane waterproofing materials, and the material cost is similar and construction cost is reduced compared to conventional KS-exposed urethane waterproofing materials.

SRU urethane technology is


This refers to the urethane waterproofing method reinforced with super microfibers. 

It is similar to the traditional method of adding straw when making bricks, 

which made them stronger and more durable.



This technology prevents re-cracking and summer pinholes, 

which commonly occur in conventional urethane waterproofing materials. 

It also reduces construction costs while improving urethane performance and quality. 

Due to its outstanding advantages, it has been awarded the Grand Prize 

in the Technology Awards by the Specialized Construction Association.

01.
Determine the temperature of the concrete.

  If the concrete floor is hot before the roof urethane is applied, there is a high probability of pinhole defects and lifting.


 Due to the hot heat, the heat from the concrete layer is heated up to the thickening layer, and the thinner component of the urethane layer is vaporized due to the heat, and since it tries to escape from the thickening layer, bubbles rise in the area where the topcoat is applied, and this is called a pinhole phenomenon.  


※ This is why pinholes are most common in roof urethane construction during the summer months of June through August.

Check for bad concrete floor surfaces.

  Before applying urethane, make sure that the concrete surface is well prepared.


  After removing the existing urethane, cracks and deteriorated areas of the concrete floor should be repaired and treated as necessary to make the surface clean before applying urethane to prevent future defects

Determine the moisture content of the concrete.

  To reduce the chance of defects, urethane should be applied when the concrete moisture content is within 7%.


  If the moisture content of the concrete is higher than the standard value, other defects such as urethane lifting may occur.

SRU urethane is a performance urethane that blends super micro fibers with urethane to provide a layer of reinforcement over traditional urethane.


The new technology construction of the patented product, which complements the shortcomings of existing rooftop urethane flooring and improves its advantages, minimizes the occurrence of defects. In particular, the performance of urethane becomes stronger by mixing super micro fibers without the need for special processes, processing and treatment to strengthen the performance of the product. In the end, urethane with stronger performance has a stronger response to external pressure. Therefore, it is a patented technology with a low unit cost but very high performance.
